Sidekick pouch

I havent had much field time with this thing yet because I bought it in the offseason, however I can tell its going to be great. The whole harness system is fantastic and easy to use. Right out of the box you can tell its very well made. The system goes together very easy. The sidekick pouch is a great little addition that you can use for almost anything small that you want quick access to in your binocular chest pack. Would strongly suggest making this and the range finder pouch part of your binocular harness system

Will this ACCOMMODATE an IPHONE say like the x? Been looking f somet to attach to my Fhf harness.

Overall I like the pouch. It has really nice padding and is well made. The magnetic closure is a nice touch. The only thing I’d change is to either make it slightly deeper or else make the flap slightly longer. I use it to carry my kestrel elite applied ballistics weather meter on my bino harness. The flap is barely big enough when the kestrel is in place for the magnet to hold the flap closed. Sometimes the flap will pop open when I don’t want it to because of this. I keep the kestrel on a lanyard for this reason. Probably a good idea anyways. Overall, quality product and fast shipping.

Tad small

For a product that is supposed to fit a kestral Its not quite right. The kestral fits in the pouch perfectly but the tab over the top is about a half inch too short to stay closed reliably. The pouch is really well made and magnet is quiet but the tab just needs to be slightly longer or the pouch a little deeper for a kestral. I’m not sure about the other items it’s supposed to fit as I bought this pouch just to keep my kestral on my bino harness.

We are sorry to hear the sidekick is not working for you. The pouch we are currently running is only meant to accommodate up to a Kestrel 4000 wind meter. If you are running say, a 5700, the side kick lid isn't long enough for that device. Our new versions will have a longer lid and slightly stronger magnet to allow Kestrel 5700s. Fits Kestral very well, not 100% sold on magnetic closure.
