The Weatherproof Chest Rig is perfect for the outdoorsman who wants a versatile and rugged system that will protect gear from wet weather/environmental conditions. Built with a X-Pac® Laminate Fabric for optimal weather proofing in harsh conditions, and redesigned for 2026 with upgraded Airmesh backing.

The use of YKK AquaGuard® zippers provides added protection and peace of mind while keeping moisture way from your gear. The Chest Rig is a minimalist style rig that is compact and designed to be worn high on your chest keeping it easily accessible and extremely versatile. The internal layout includes a large zippered pocket, 3 additional internal sleeve pockets, lanyard attachment points, and dual zipper entry. Features attachment points that make it compatible with our Foundation Wings (sold separately), and both our Airframe Harness, and Overwatch Harness. (Both sold separately)

Had this several years now along with bear spray holder, E3 pouch, and accessory Velcro pocket insert. I don’t write reviews until I have some serious use on an item. I have used it for fishing, hiking, carrying a handgun, and general knocking around. Has kept contents dry and secure. Easy on and off, fits well under backpack straps. You can easily customize interior for specific uses. I would purchase again.

Not so good not durable warranty is horrible

To start this off I own the chest rig gen 2 standard and it’s tough as nails. I ordered the water resistant chest rig for keeping things dry waterfowl hunting and fly fishing . I have the waterfowl kit in it and a multitool with other stuff . The stitching on the female buckle that attaches the shoulder harness is starting to rip out of the fabric after 1 hunt . This is concerning I have put a warranty clam in we will see how it goes if the new one lasts longer than a day I will change my review. I think the fabric has no give like the normal chest rig or I just got a bad one it happens . We will see if they stand behind what they make . So I started the warranty process though first lite and if you live in Canada it’s horrible with the US tariffs to send goods back it’s horrible first lite was no help with the information need or willing to help with the process so at this point I don’t know if it will ever get resolved.
