The weatherproof Chest Rig is perfect for the outdoorsman who wants a versatile and rugged system that will protect gear from wet weather/environmental conditions. The weatherproof Chest Rig is built with a TPU coated Fabric for our waterfowl patterns and an X-Pac® Laminate Fabric for our solid Coyote Brown option. The use of YKK AquaGuard® zippers provides added protection and peace of mind. The Chest Rig is a minimalist style rig that is compact and designed to be worn high on your chest keeping it easily accessible and extremely versatile. The internal layout includes a large zippered pocket, 3 additional internal sleeve pockets, lanyard attachment points, and dual zipper entry. Features attachment points that make it compatible with our NEW Foundation Wings (sold separately).

Great pack

Perfect size for my lunch ,compact binos and sig 365 XL for day hiking. I was given a bear spray holster for father's day, so I'm all set for bear country fishing. I haven't had a chance to test the waterproofness but I look forward to adding the Waterfowl kit and hunting in foul weather. Very well made, with tons of extra loops and features , I haven't figured out what to do with yet.I love the molle panel on the front ,for add ons and the harness is super comfy.

I'm using this in my first season of duck hunting. So far, I really like it. Good usefulness, and I can hold all I need in it. I use it in combination with the Ground Control pack, and I actually carry this inside that pack to the blind (fits nicely in the top part of the GC pack). I dump shells in it, carry my hearing protection, calls, and still have room for my phone. Works well with shooting - have never had a problem with interference. Also, it's small enough to set on a small shelf in a pit blind. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I haven't used it in a good rainstorm yet. So, I haven't tested if stuff will stay dry in a Louisiana rain. I'm a wetlands ecologist, so I'll be using this for work in the field, so it will get some more testing after hunting season. So far, so good, though. Does everything it promised. Good pack.

Don't listen to these other negative reviews say. Chestrig is weatherproof/ water resistant o not waterproof. Does the job for my duck hunts and fishing adventures. Owned 2 of the prior gen.
